After subjecting Professor Jordan Peterson to intimidating letters, and violent interruptions by student union activists, the University of Toronto has agreed to hold a debate! The date hasn’t been set yet, but I’ll be there to report live @grenouf. Stay tuned for updates!

Universities are a business, sadly. But if the administrators have relented, it means the stranglehold the PC mob has over free and open inquiry is diminishing. The sjws have overplayed their hands so many times that it is absolutely despicable that it has taken this long to confront their hatred, bigotry and mob tactics.
The business model has shifted it appears, to where the university will be worse off appeasing the sjws (reduced donations, diminished reputation etc). Ah, the smell of freedom in the air!
Of course, knowing sjws, we shouldn’t let our guard down as they are truly mentally disturbed individuals.

Indeed. Did you hear how Mizzou had a decline in enrollment after the Black Lives Matter protests there? UofT needs to tread very carefully here…
This debate is certainly going to be a big event. There seem to be a lot of misunderstandings of the core issues–on both sides–and I’m eager to see how the conversation evolves.
