Kevin Annett Disrespects, Causes Pain & Division, In Indigenous Communities…

Kevin Annett – The man is hurting indigenous communities…

If Kevin Annett was hired to create division in indigenous communities he is doing his job quite well. Everywhere he goes he leaves a trail of destruction and pain. If things weren’t bad enough for people having to endure the legacy of the residential schools, they now have to deal with a man who will stop at nothing to keep his deception flowing.

Today I got a message from someone at the Six Nations reserve at Kanata. The words used to describe the situation was that it is like ‘Animal Farm’ down there right now. The Elders have made the decision, but now people outside the council are causing trouble and trying to get a petition to support Annett’s kangaroo court. It all stinks of the influence of the Marxists who have been supporting Annett (and who have built connections with a number of easily swayed people.)

Last night Annett sent out a visceral email discussing his feelings about the election of Shawn Alteo at the the Assembly of First Nations meeting this week. First, what he wrote gives us some insight to the fact that Annett is breaking down, and losing his cool. But, more important, his words give a great example of his feeling of entitlement to interfere with indigenous affairs:

Shawn Atleo doesn’t look like much, especially in that ridiculously fake cedar bark hat he loves to parade around in when he needs to play Indian during media photo ops. And frankly, he isn’t that much, which is why he got re-appointed so handily by the feds as Canada’s top Indian cop – some call him a “Chief” – at the Assembly of First Nation (AFN) convention yesterday in Toronto.”

Kevin Annett is a man with very little shame- who is he to make judgement on Atleo’s traditional dress? Why does he think it is acceptable for him to talk-down to indigenous leaders like this? Well, it gets worse:

“It is the banal personalities who run our world, of course; and I suppose brown skinned bureaucrats have every right to be so as do the Pale varieties.”

Annett has been building division within indigenous communities and between indigenous people and the rest of Canada for many years now. Somehow, it seems he has become so delusional in the process that he thinks he has the right to speak on-behalf of them This is not only highly disrespectful, but it is dangerous- it’s exemplified by what is happening in Brantford right now.

Annett spends a lot of his time trying to get his paws into the lives of innocent native people. Claire Vargas is a great example. She was a victim of a Jesuit residential school in Washington State, she was convinced to go with Annett on a trip to Italy, and was treated horribly by him. Ken Bear Chief, a paralegal who was working with Vargas made a statement about Annett a couple of days ago:

“No, I have not followed anything about Kevin Annett at all. I did a radio interview, and he was one of the guests, but I was asked to participate due to my work for Native Americans who suffered abuse at the Residential Schools in the U.S., he asked me to get back on board with him, but after I considered what I know he has done that is just plain ‘wrong’ and how he treated Clara Vargas in Italy…and those things I learned about from others that he has done and said, I decided it is better to stay out of his circle.”

I’ve heard first-hand reports about Vargas’ experience with Annett when she went to Italy with him. Apparently, he was so horribly disrespectful to her there that the people Annett was visiting there “The Genoa Circle” asked Annett to leave and never come back.

I’ll share one more example of Annett’s work to create division on this story. In this piece of divisive ‘genius’ Annett makes the accusation that the government was targeting native people with Tamiflu with the intention to kill them all. He uses examples of allegations where this happened in the past, with no evidence to back his current claim. This is so obviously divisive propaganda that it is entirely transparent. You can read this masterpiece in the PDF below.

Annett is like a cancer to indigenous communities- or, perhaps a better comparison would be smallpox. He leaves a wave of disrespect, pain and division wherever he goes. The sooner he is taken off the streets the better…
