Do you have any evidence of this happening? I’m a known activist and have never felt an ounce of that.
Maybe that is because you are doing the dirty work for the system? Or not a threat to the system? Well, the gentleman whom you are claiming to be a “black bloc” is going to be harassed by police. Did you even ask his permission to use his name as such?

Greg I must agree, Occupy seems to have the ‘horizontal democracy’ image, but boasts black bloc and complete anarchy. Each event seems to be contributing and controlling the movement gradually from the ‘Robin Hood Tax March’ to other more socialist and equality-based ideals. If ‘Occupy’ really practiced what it preached, we would all equally participate to contribute to an overall goal. Looks more more divide and conquer to me
The cops don’t worry about the non-violent. If you exercise your right to protest in a peaceful fashion you don’t need a mask. Granted they will check you out to ensure you aren’t a threat of physical violence but we pay and expect them to do that. By wearing a mask you infer that you are about to do something that might very well be violent. At that point john q public wants the cops to harass you mercilessly. You’ll notice there is no huge outpouring of support when the black block gets their heads cracked. That’s because the 99%…..the real 99%. Thinks that’s a fair thing to do to a small “t” terrorist. If you don’t want to get caught in the cross fire then take your mask off, disavow and excommunicated the bloc and run away when they start their “tactics”. You don’t, after all, play golf in lightning and expect not to get struck so why be attracted to “lightning” when you protest?
Are we sure that the storey pushers aren’t some religious hysteria cult with order copyright disease that someone else is taking the loss with
