Occupy Toronto’s David Kahn Encourages Violence Against The Police!

Occupy Toronto’s David Kahn is at it again- this time encouraging people to engage in assaulting the police. Isn’t that a crime?

I’ve previously exposed Kahn’s promoting the use of guns on Occupy Toronto’s Facebook page. I’ve also posted how Dave Vasey expressed deep respect for this man. Somehow, the people of Occupy Toronto allow this man to post this material- it has never been erased, and he has never been asked to take it down. Something is really wrong with this organization…

Let me be blunt here. this guy is clearly a few fries short of a happy meal . Anyone who is advocating to others that they should be committing crime, and especially crimes of such a serious nature really needs , and should have along meeting with the very cops he wants to , and advocates assaulting. What he is advocating is a federal crime. However, he will be happy to know that there is lots of room at out federally run facilities to ensure he has a nice long stay.

    1. Personally, I think this guy is a burger short of a Happy Meal…

  1. This advise that this person David Kahn is giving is totally ridiculous. i.e yes kids go and hit a police officer. Kids and occupiers don’t listen to that advise!!

Hellooooooooooooo by law and I have this in articles on my site….. by law the Police can take it one step or one level higher then the person that is aggressive. I.E, so an occupier hits a police officer and that police officer (s) can basically beat them down and they would be legally mandated to do so.

People don’t listen to this advise, if he thinks that the only solution to be able to drag info into a pursuant court case against a law enforcement officer regarding excessive force is by you yourself committing a felony.

One must think of Mens Rea in any court case… i.e. right now if anyone on this blokes page assaulted a police officer, intent and prior intent could be easily proven. Depending on the severity of the assault on a PO it can bag a person five years or less or more. It could mean probation, sure, maybe, either way whoever is convicted of assaulting a police officer will then have a life altering record. Which means many things it could cost you the result of not being able to get a job that you want, not be able to travel on a vacation, etc… it is absurd advise.

If a police officer has assaulted you, the best way is not ……. to hit them, and gain a bloody beating literally, the best way is to take them to court, there are law review agencies and even in the case of Angela Turvey, those officers are on record. i.e the next time someone complains or wants them charged they have their own record now.

Reporting excessive force by a police officer or bringing them to court also works over time, because the review agencies and the courts would have to look at the officers prior record if other complaints have been filed. Don’t hit a police officer people, that’s ridiculous and since this person thinks it is A ok to do so, may I suggest that Kahn follow his own advise and try that with a police officer. I bet he won’t because…… its easy to suggest but he doesn’t want to be at the end of Police Batons or the officer he assaulted. In fact not only is his advise ridiculous and even absurd, his advise is stupid! Seriously.

David Kahn lead by example, since you think this is such marvelous advise. That is in saying you go and try and hit a police officer and that way the young people that are mostly made up of the movement can bear witness to your example and what will happen when you do hit a police officer. You idiot! That way they can then decide if they really think it is worthwhile to hit a police officer by your own example. You first David Kahn since you think this idea is worthy of being called genius. NOT

Again Occupiers don’t listen to David Kahn his arse is sucking wind IMO.

It is section 270 of the Criminal Code of Canada.
    270. (1) Every one commits an offence who

    (a) assaults a public officer or peace officer engaged in the execution of his duty or a person acting in aid of such an officer;

    (b) assaults a person with intent to resist or prevent the lawful arrest or detention of himself or another person; or

    (c) assaults a person

    (i) who is engaged in the lawful execution of a process against lands or goods or in making a lawful distress or seizure, or

(ii) with intent to rescue anything taken under lawful process, distress or seizure.

    Punishment
    (2) Every one who commits an offence under subsection (1) is guilty of

    (a) an indictable offence and is liable to imprisonment for a term not exceeding five years; or

    (b) an offence punishable on summary conviction.

    1. If David Kahn ever tries out his own advice, I’d love to see the video! lol

    This is very bad advice.
The best thing to ask a police officer is if he loves you.
“I love you, do you love me?”

If he says no, he is an outlaw, for by the law we are to love our neighbours as ourselves.

    1. Your advice is some of the best I’ve heard yet! :)

Its true the law owns us. My case that I brought to the police for brutality is now going into its second year, and probably nothing will come of it. We have given the gang (cops) the ability to use any sort of tactic to declare a person as being aggressive. For example I have tremors and muscle spasms/twitches. The officer used those same tremors as a reason to knock me out and send me to the hospital for “resisting” until he saw my medical records. The world we live in today is one in which if we see our brothers getting raped in the street, we turn the blind eye because obviously we don’t know what he did to deserve it. Note* there is no rules on how to interfere with a peace officer, if the officer is in fact being unlawful, so the uniform and gun does give them, a power higher then law.

    1. Good luck with that one…

You can listen to that advise if you want to end up injured or even worse dead.

Is this a theory David has or does he know this for fact. If it is a theory it would be good to try it out before telling others to do so. I have never tried this myself. However, I do know people who have and it did work for them.

From what I have seen fighting back against a cop is one of the dumbest things you can do. Right after rolling down the window at African Lion Safari to pet a lion. All you are doing is giving the cop an excuse to go to town on you and get away with it.

    1. One has to wonder what David’s intention is in telling people to do something so stupid. There are plenty of impressionable young people out there who may take this advice and find themselves in a lot of trouble (or seriously hurt).

This was completely irresponsible of him….

    is this guy for real?
this is like saying to catch an abuser become an abuser.

    this is not civil disobedience

it is manipulating and misguiding people for their own political cause.
to hell with the kid whose life is ruined by a crimminal record

they are just collateral damage for the cause

    1. Let’s hope that the kids who are reading this crap can think for themselves and do the right thing…
