Update On The Lynch Mob Story- Occupy Police to the Rescue!

Official Logo for Occupy Police

Those of you who have been following me for a while will remember the incident back in December when I engaged Occupy Police to help with all of the abuse I was receiving from Harsha Walia & others. They came to the rescue during a heated debate and made things clear- violence is not acceptable in the Occupy movement…

A supporter of the Vancouver Black Bloc took a shot at me a short while ago:

I also got some abuse from Raincoaster– the person who I suspect help put together the attack webpage written just about me. At least, she threatened the day before that she was going to do a “Twitter Audit”- shortly after I see they used a list of twitter messages (only mine, not the people I was speaking with) from my conversation with Occupy Police to trick people to ‘signing’ it.

So, I decided it is once more time to engage Occupy Police. I just got off a long chat with them, and will have another call tomorrow. They also posted a word of support for me just now on the Occupy Toronto Market Exchange Facebook page:

We have a call together on Friday evening to dig into the case further. I will update you with progress as it happens. Until then, to the good occupiers in Toronto & Vancouver (most of you) don’t worry, the battle has only just begun!

  1. Greg, you DO have supporters in places i suspect you did not know you had . The few who are your detractors are only so because they refuse to see what is REALLY going on, as they are fully complicit in these actions. The truth is about to come out.

    1. Indeed- thank you to all of them! And, the truth will set us free!

  2. If you counted up the total number of people who are being assholes and trying to boss around a protest movement (oh no, am I being a bully now?) you would have less than 100 hardcore people. Probably more like 50. We had probably more than 5 thousand show up to the first march. The percentages do not look good.

The blog reads in your favour to a certain extent whereas theirs comes off as obvious smears, trying to say you are sexist because you are upset at a feminist, etc.

The media is the ultimate decider in these things. Have you contacted the alternative media? Corbett likes stories from this perspective and you’d assume Dicks might want to cover the story of what’s happening to the former occupiers.

It’s amazing how negative everything they say sounds considering their espoused message originally. Really all they were ever good at doing is attack politics. They have no honest solutions.

If you come to them with the real solutions and ideas they have zero interest and will act to block any attempt at this discussion because they fear the power of individuals to go against the herd, always, always always…

    1. Indeed, I came to Occupy with a simple, but elegant solution – Take Corporate Money out of Politics! I shared the idea speaking on the first day at Occupy Vancouver. As I spoke, over six thousand people chanted enthusiastically along with me- “It’s the system, not the people- stupid.”

But, as you stated, they crushed my ideas. Which is funny, because Occupy Wall Street’s main initiative this year will be just that!

If anyone has contacts with a trusted member of the mainstream or alternative media, I’d be grateful if they would share…

Greg’s campaign was to denounce the use of violence within the “occupy” movement.
By forming a possy, and going after the personality, of an individual, to destroy their credability, it can be perceived that Occupy Toronto is NOT a safe space.
Denouncement of violence by the “occupy movement” or using Black Block activities as tactics? What’s it going to be Occupy? Some transparent proposal / press release would be encouraged at this time.
Has Greg’s real message has been muddled? Is he insane for wanting a truly peaceful movement?

    1. Hi Fred,

      Thanks for your support!

Just to make sure there isn’t any confusion- though I may believe some of these people support the use of violent tactics, this has never been a subject we’ve debated here at Occupy Toronto. The good people here have been 100% against the use of violence in their movement, and stopped any talk of it before it ever started. This is what I like about Toronto, the people here are more realistic and sensible than back out west…

The real debate in Toronto has been behind hidden motives. Who are the people who are against me working for and what is their motive? Well,I’ve found that many of them have deep connections with the George Soros funded TIDES Foundation- organizations like the Rainforest Action Network, Ruckus Society and Indigenous Environmental Network. They are very unhappy I raised this question, and have never answered it- rather, they have deflected and tried to slander me instead!

Besides that, Occupy is a leaderless movement- by design. And, the fact that people like Dave Vasey are claiming leadership is a serious problem for us. Basically, the movement has been hijacked…

And, as for transparency? It scares the bejezus out of them for some reason. Any thoughts on why?

      Thanks,
      -Greg

  3. Greg, the answer to your question of why some have a huge fear of transparency is really very simple. They fear it because they know that if things DO become transparent, they and their lies will be fully exposed , they will be questioned and their power of so called leadership will vanish. These people are power hungry, nothing more and when they hold power, they feel on top of the world. When , however, this power fades away, they too fade into obscurity , nothingness. if the truth did come out, they would also lose the one thing they are claiming to fight, MONEY as these people are doing this out of the goodness of their heart. There is HUGE money to be made from radical activism, certain not by the vast majority who are simply followers, but rather, those at the very top , the very select few .

    1. Typical, greed overcomes a loving movement. I hold no animosity towards those who got sucked into the moment – love you all…

Alex Hundert is a violent and sick little boy. He can’t formulate arguments and fails at debates, hence his propensity towards violence. I’d like to see him pull that with me. I’d kick him where it hurts harder than he’s ever been kicked before. Pure loser.

    1. I’m a nonviolent Buddhist, will stick to kicking him in the Social Media! Lol
