Follow-Up To Attorney General Nicholson About Kevin Annett

Dear Mr. Nicholson,

I’m writing to follow-up on the letter I sent you last week about Kevin Annett, a man who is spreading hate and inciting people to take attacks on the clergy at the United, Catholic & Anglican churches. Since I last wrote to you I have come across some new, and rather disturbing, information.

Yesterday I discovered that Annett has begun to involve children in his hateful crusade. I found a radio interview he did with a 12 year old girl where he was discussing how priests rape and molest young children. This is, by far, the most disturbing thing I’ve discovered about Mr. Annett- many people have been seriously upset on discovering this.

Annett did an interview on “Chrystal Light Kids Radio” last week. He openly discussed child molestation, and openly promoted hatred towards Canada’s churches. He also furthered his lie, on-tape, that he had filed a crminal case against the churches and the government in Toronto’s federal court. Here’s a link to that interview:

Additionally, I noticed that an article he wrote, slandering the head of the United Church, was published on this kid’s page on Facebook. Here’s an excerpt of what was posted- I’m sure you will see this is rather disturbing content to share with children:

The time has come to stop Mr. Annett from doing any further damage. He has hurt scores of people with his vitreous attacks, and has caused immeasurable damage within indigenous communities. The people in the Six Nations reserve are still recovering after his false claim to have found a mass grave in Brantford.

I thank you for your time and attention to this matter. And, there are many of us who are willing to share information and help you with an investigation. Annett’s promotion of hate and lies cannot be allowed to go on.

Regards,

-Greg Renouf
